Seventy Traditional Birth Attendants trained on Njaba Kunda and Daru Rilwan, North Bank Region (The Gambia)

On October Wassu Gambia Kafo trained 70 Traditional Birth Attendants on the towns of Njaba Kunda y Daru Rilwan, both of them on the North Bank Region (Gambia). The aim of this training is to increase the knowledge that TBA have over the identification of the different types of FGM/C, the sociocultural aspects that have influence over the practice and over the management of the complications that FGM/C causes before, during and after the delivery.
